This piece is inspired by the beautiful Northwest Summer Poppies. The entire painting is done with palette Knives, the background is heavily texturized with thick luscious glossy paint in shades of mustard yellow, Buff cream and light beige. The poppies come to life with the deep tones of Reds and Orange.
